Ronald Araoujo, Uruguay defender Will renew his contract with Barcelona until 2026 on Friday.

The club’s official website has confirmed that an agreement with Araoujo has been reach over a new contract extension. The term of the contract will be extend until June 2026 and the contract will be signed on Friday.

Araoujo is currently contract to Barcelona until 2023. So efforts have made by the ufabet club to negotiate a new contract. Among the interest from many famous teams especially the Premier League Recently. The agreement between Barca and Araujo was complete as expect. The release clause in the new contract is up to 1 billion euros. Barcelona will formally sign Araujo with club president Joan Laporta on Friday morning.

Araujo stood out in his country and Boston River signed him. After one year playing in Montevideo and gaining experience in the Uruguayan top flight. He signed a five-year contract with Barça B on 29 August 2018. For the 2020/21 season the defender became part of the FC Barcelona first team squad winning his first trophy at the Club, the Copa del Rey. 

In his second season at with the first team he has proved himself to be the present and future for Barça, becoming an integral part of the blaugrana defence. His talents in defence and scoring goals mean he is a player for years to come as his tally of four goals this season proves.
